The musée Jacquemart-André - The Collections

917
The Musée Jacquemart-André collection is one of the world's great collections. Born of Edouard André's and his wife Nélie Jacquemart's shared passion for the arts, it is characterized by a certain originality, combining the decorative arts with painting and sculpture. This unique and priceless heritage has been accessible to the public since 1913 in Paris and at Chaalis. From Uccello to Tiepolo, from Memling to Rembrandt, from Fragonard to David, this book introduces the reader to a whole area of art history.
