Toebag Sibylle

1009
This totebag features a detail from the Sibyl painted by the Dominiquin in 1617 for Cardinal Scipio Borghese. Depicted here in an elegant pose, the Sibyl has a half-open mouth, because in mythology, they received prophecies from the gods and sang them to men.
